Hello again!!! I have been having a wonderful birthday so far. This morning there was a wonderful frühstuck with rolls and coffee and crouisannts (sp?). Then I went to Michaelskirche with Ingrid und Ernst and Heikke their daughter. There was a wonderful choir that sang Bach´s Cantante, und is was very beautiful. Then after church there was a family brunch and everyone wished me glück for another year for my birthday. We had birthday cake and chocolate eggs and special chicken and potatos. After brunch we traveled to das Feldmeer literally (stone ocean) it was really cool but quite a hike, I will try to get pictures later.
I must appologize now for the degradation of my english. In class I have been trying to think in German because their language structure is so different so it is becoming more and more difficult for me to return back to English when I hear German everywhere all day and when I do hear English it is often not grammer or tense perfect. And for class I have to try not to confuse similar words(worts) like perfect and perfeckt, and und, house haus, and so on. Also it is really difficult to type this as well because y and z are switched and there are also extra öäüµß keys and a # where the enter key is. So. Hopefully once I get internet on my own computer I will be able to spend more time writing entries and separating German from English (Englisch)
Haha, I feel your pain. Japanese grammar is completely backwards, and now it takes me three hours to write something correctly that would have only taken 10 minutes before. lmao. And the ' key is the shift of 7 and where the shift should be is actually the yen symbol and other such strange changes on Japanese keyboards. =) I'm glad you had a fun birthday though. When we both get back to NAU I'll have a VERY belated present for you. XD
ReplyDeleteyou're so cool! you're perfeckt! Man, I hardly got to see Germany. We're going there for a bit when traveling, right?
ReplyDeleteYeah we can go there, depending on what my parents can find in Switzerland... What are your 3 top priority things you want to see?
